National Minimum Wage – 1 April 2023

The rate of the national minimum wage for workers aged 23 or over (the national living wage) increases from £9.50 to £10.42 per hour.

The rate for workers aged at least 21 but under 23 rises from £9.18 to £10.18 per hour.

The rate for workers aged at least 18 but under 21 increases from £6.83 to £7.49 per hour, the rate for workers aged 16 to 17 rises from £4.81 to £5.28 per hour, and the apprentice rate rises from £4.81 to £5.28 per hour.
