Breathe HR Install on a tight timeline

This was part of a wider project, Breathe was an important first step.

We implemented Breathe HR software, bringing all the employee documents, past and present into one HRIS. The timing of the project required an injection of hours to ensure all documentation was mapped across from legacy systems.

We were delighted to complete the implementation and training of the team on time.

The client

The client was a growing IT business which needed to develop a range of HR processes and solutions. 

Implementing Breathe was one of the key drivers, so all colleagues sourced their personal data and company policies from one location.

The brief

The team supported the business across a wide range of HR activities from finding a new service provider to general HR administration.

The client was well organised but had a clear timeline and set of deliverables.

Guildford HR utilised the whole team at different stages of the implementation, so that we could ensure delivery on time, and that processes were updated.

Guildford HR was a local provider and it was important for the client that our consultants were able to work on site.

We had a clear deadline and this required a team to implement the software. Historical records were transferred into Breathe, transactions replicated, processes were run in parrel. An individual consultant would not have been able to meet the timeline.

We have been using the software for over 6 years, supporting clients from 8 employees to those with over a 100. 

The team come from a range of different commercial sectors and are able to adapt to different working environments and deliver bespoke solutions as required.

Our solution

As experienced HR professionals from different sectors, we were able to offer suggestions about the utilisation of Breathe.

The client used every part of the Breathe system and implemented new processes into the company at the same time. Using the Breathe structure, we were able to map all the processes. 

The results

We asked Guildford HR to help update our HR processes and procedures as our company has been growing and we wanted to ensure we had everything in place for our employees. Guildford HR installed Breathe which is a cloud-based human resource information system.  We are now able to store all of our employee data in this system, including contracts, offer letters, right to work and all training certificates and important information such as emergency contacts too.  Employees can book annual leave which automatically links to their line manager for approval and is a great self-serve aspect of the system. Managers are able to make use of the calendar when approving holidays and can ensure that there are still employees around for key dates.

We manage our performance reviews through Breathe too. Having all the employee data in one place has been greatly beneficial to our company, replacing the spreadsheet and hard copy filing that we had before. With the system comes document storage enabling us to place all of our company policies and procedures for employees to view.  We can even select who or what department can get access to the files.  

The team at Guildford HR is efficient and very professional.  I would definitely recommend them to other businesses looking to place their HR data in one place.
